Come join the first and oldest bass club in Illinois. If you’re looking to join a club that wants to promote the sport of bass fishing, good fellowship among anglers, and conservation then the ILLINI BASS CLUB is for you.
We offer a full schedule of competitive fishing tournament events throughout the year and proudly host the D.A.R.E. kids fishing tournament at Kennekuk County Park. We hold a guys and gals tournament, an open tournament and have an annual awards banquet. Here is a variety of extra activities we do with our club for example:
· Stag party/fish fry at the beginning of the year.
· Lure raffle at monthly meetings.
· Rod and lure drawings monthly if you fish a tournament and also at the awards banquet.
· Brown bag auction.
· Raffle for the ladies at the annual awards banquet.
· Award plaques for top ten anglers of the year, classic winners, sportsman of the year, monthly tournament winners, and big bass.

Our club holds a monthly meeting on the first Wednesday of the month. The meetings are held at the GAO Grotto off Lake Vermilion, Danville, IL, at 7:30 p.m.
